Well, weather was the issue here again. I can't believe as I am writing this that I have had to write 2 articles on weather. Hopefully this upcoming year we can get lucky and get days where we can compete. Having said that how many competitors were anticipating fishing this weekend? EVERYBODY! Why? Big Fish Friday was huge with Captain Eddy Sheldrake from Squaretail taking home the prize for the biggest fish. These huge kings were all caught on the same day and 2011 should be no
different. Captain Eddy edged out Free Spirit and Vision Quest for the trophy and cash.
This last leg of our series is where the King Of The Lake overall winner is crowned and it is fitting that the biggest fish are caught this weekend. Where do you get the best fishermen combined with the possibilities of catching the fish of a lifetime and all of this while competing with a group of friends? Nowhere but the St. Catharines Fall event!
