Team Big Jon takes Top Prize of $18,000 Capt. Dave Sullivan and his crew took top prize in 09 with an impressive catch of fish. 280.23 points over 10 fish! This is their second win in our series over the years. While intensely watching the coolers getting opened and weighed, they really started to get jacked that this one just might be theirs to win. It turned out to be a super close weigh-in with their total score only besting 2nd place Team Striker by a mere single point. They would be crowned the 2009 Spring King of the Lake champions winning the phenomenal 1st place prize of $18,000 in cold hard cash, trophy and the Calcutta for another $1,000 in cash in addition to the Dreamweaver Big Fish Friday bringing their total weekend winnings to just over $20,000.00 cash!!!!! When asked about winning Capt. Dave said “All this! For doing something we all love and live for. Truly a great weekend of memories and fishing, landing more then 100 kings over the course of four days, competing amongst a great group of anglers, hanging out with good friends, and enjoying our beautiful fish rich Lake Ontario”
